Moscow Ballet Audition Director and Soloist Mariia Yevdokymova
Mariia Yevdokymova premieres this year as a Moscow Ballet Soloist and Audition Director. She started dancing at Classical Dance Ensemble at just seven years old and studied there until she was 14. In 2012, she attended Odessa College of Arts and Culture named after K.F. Dankevich. There, she studied under choreography teacher Mikhail Petukhov, a People’s Artist of Ukraine and a former partner of famed ballerina Maya Plisetskaya. Mariia spent a year and a half teaching young children classical ballet at Odessa Ballet School. She has toured with the Royal Russian Ballet, Classical Russian Ballet and Kharkov City Opera and Ballet. In 2017, she toured China with the Royal Russian Ballet and has also toured to India, Holland, Belgium and Poland performing Swan Lake and the Nutcracker. She has more than 30 awards and has performed on the stage of the National Theater in Lviv, Odessa and Donetsk.
