About the WVU Creative Arts Center
Welcome to the home of Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker in Morgantown! West Virginia University’s Creative Arts Center hosts over 500 performances annually, as well as monthly arts exhibitions. There is a constant slate of recitals, concerts, plays, musicals, exhibitions, lectures and master classes offered throughout the year. The center also offers five different performing arts spaces, from a 50-seat laboratory theater to a 1,412-seat majestic continental theatre, where Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker performs. Past performances include such diverse entertainment as Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the Broadway showstopper, Dirty Dancing.
