About the Ent Center for the Arts

Welcome to the home of Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker in Colorado Springs! The Ent Center for the Arts, which opened in January 2018, is a new performing and visual arts complex on the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs campus. The Ent Center is a transformational performing and visual arts complex. This 92,000 square-foot building features four performing arts venues and a visual arts gallery. It was designed by H3 Hardy Collaboration Architecture, a recognized leader in the planning and design of arts centers and cultural facilities, to provide a multi-dimensional, multi-venue artistic hub for both the campus and the wider community.

Colorado Springs Ballet Partnership: Turning Pointe School of Dance

Nutcracker wouldn’t be Nutcracker without the local Children’s cast! Dancing along side the full professional Russian cast are local Colorado Springs children from Turning Pointe School of Dance. Colorado Springs' Turning Pointe School of Dance’s mission is to fully develop a dancer’s skills and talents and to encourage students to use their gifts to bless others in the community and beyond. The vision is that each student would learn not only to perform dance/theater, but also to inspire them to appreciate and love dance and creative arts. Turning Pointe Dance is a dance studio owned and operated in Colorado Springs by Tina Cook. With more than 14 years of successful operation, they offer classes for ages 2 through adult in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, modern, worship, and much more. The studio provides excellence in dance and theater instruction while cultivating hearts and nurturing creativity. From bunny hops and streamers with the budding ballerinas to pirouettes with the pointe students, there is something special for everyone.
