Principal Ballerina Natalia Gubanova

Natalia GubanovaBorn in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Natalia Gubanova is a graduate of the world famous Vaganova Ballet Academy. She is Laureate of the 2010 International Ballet Competition in Athens; recipient of a diploma from the International Ballet Competition of Romania 2010; prize-winner at the International Ballet Competition in Rieti, Italy in 2007 and 2009, and participant in the 2013 10th International Ballet Competition in Greece. Upon graduation from the Vaganova Academy, Natalia joined the Russian Ballet under People’s Artist of Russia Vyacheslav Gordeev as a classical ballet dancer.

Natalia is a guest soloist in Moscow and attended a ballet seminar at The Bolshoi Ballet Academy on "Teaching Methods" at featuring Ballet Teacher Liudmila Kolenchenko and was grateful to have such an opportunity to study at the one of the best schools in the world. She teaches the women’s company class and coaches the corps de ballet. She expands her knowledge by participating in special programs for ballet teachers at the Royal Ballet School inPrincipal Dancers Natalia Gubanova and Alexey Gerasimov in Swan Lake lift London and L'école de Danse de l'Opéra National de Paris and she was a guest teacher for Elite Ballet Summer Intensive in Mexico in 2016 and the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in 2018.

Natalia’s repertoire includes Principal Roles in the world’s greatest ballets: The Nutcracker with choreography by Vasily Vaynonen; Sleeping Beauty as Aurora and the Lilac Fairy with choreography by Marius Petipa and the revised version by Konstantin Sergeyev; Romeo and Juliette as Juliette with the classic choreography of L. Lavrovsky; Swan Lake as Pas de Trois with choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov; Giselle in the Peasant Pas de Deux and choreography by Jean Coralli, Jules Perrot and Marius Petipa; Don Quixote as the Dryads’ Queen with choreography by Alexander Gorsky; and many other roles of classical repertoire. She performs these roles to critical acclaim throughout Europe, Asia and North America.
