Kostyantyn Vinovoy became the principal soloist of the Kiev Municipal Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre immediately after graduating from the Kiev State Ballet School under Ballet Master Nobuhiro Terada. He won a top award at the world renowned Serge Lifar International Ballet Competition and is a brilliant principal dancer. He has frequently participated in “The Young Ballerina Festival” in Nagoya, Japan with which his Ballet Master Tekada has close ties. He is admired for his high level of professional ballet technique for the classical male dance and his inspired method. His performance repertoire in the leading male
role is quite varied and includes Swan Lake (Prince Siegfried, Rothbart), Sleeping Beauty (Prince Desire, Bluebird) and The Nutcracker (Prince) by P. Tchaikovsky, Giselle (Count Albrecht) by A. Adam, La Bayadere (Solor) by L. Minkus, Chopiniana (“Les Sylphides”, Youth) to music by F. Chopin, Romeo and Juliet (Romeo, Mercutio) and Cinderella (Prince) by S. Prokofiev, Spartacus (Crassus) by A. Khachaturian, Snow White and Seven Dwarfs (Prince) by B. Pavlovsky, Mowgli (Mowgli) by A. Gradsky, The Ugly Duckling (Swan) by O. Petrova. Kostyantyn Vinovoy has toured extensively to countries including Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, France, Switzerland, Great Britain, Romania, Slovenia, Japan, and Canada.
