Moscow Ballet’s award-winning dancers bring the holiday season to life in Ft. Worth, TX!

altMoscow Ballet’s acclaimed Great Russian Nutcracker will be at the Will Rogers Memorial Center on Saturday, November 15th at 3:00 PM.

Exclusive to the Great Russian Nutcracker is the stunning Dove of Peace, with 20ft wingspan, and created by 2 dancers moving as one; Russian folk legends Father Christmas/Ded Moroz and Snow Maiden/Snegurochka who escort Masha and Nutcracker Prince to the Land of Peace and Harmony; life-sized Matrushka Dolls; and whimsical 10ft tall silk puppets. New in 2014 is an authentic Russian Christmas puppet play and Masha’s magical Toy Cabinet. Wearing intricately detailed costumes, many with shimmering Swarovski crystals, the award-winning principal dancers and corps de ballet bring Tchaikovsky’s master score and the holiday season to life!

altEstablished in Fort Worth, Texas in 1936, the Will Rogers Memorial Center now attracts in excess of 2 million visitors each year to the Cultural District. This 105-acre facility plays host to an extensive variety of cultural, corporate, educational and sporting events including many international-level equestrian and livestock shows.

The Will Rogers Auditorium features 2,856 permanent seats, a proscenium stage, extensive dressing room capacity and beautiful Art Deco features inside and out.

The Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall includes the Texas Room with over 94,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space, the 18,000-square-foot Round Up Inn ballroom and four additional meeting rooms.
