Fleur-De-Lis Academy’s teaching philosophy is to focus on the building of self-esteem, self-worth, self-value, and self-discipline in each individual student. The vehicle that the school uses to instill these values is high quality pre-professional ballet training. Thus, the focus is always on the well-being of the student and not on technique. Fleur-De-Lis believes that the craft of dance is something that is inspired within our students’ spirits and as such they offer their education to all; regardless of age, ethnicity, socio-economic standing, creed, or physical form.  The school endeavors to work with the parents of each student to draw out the greatness in their child, aiding them to set the trajectory of success in their life, regardless of becoming a professional ballerina or ballerina in the future.
