Moscow Ballet Invites
Community Leaders to Partner with 2015 productions of
Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella
Moscow Ballet invites community organizations to become partners in the inaugural tour of Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, presented in cities across the US from February to April 2015.
Moscow Ballet will select businesses, community and civic organizations, across the country to join us in this celebration of classical story ballets performed by a company of the most talented Russian ballerinas and danseurs. Moscow Ballet’s full length productions feature sumptuous sets and costumes made in St Petersburg, Russia. The beloved ballets are rarely performed in their entirety and they appeal to audiences of all ages.

“Dance with Us” brings local children on stage with the professionals!
Moscow Ballet includes children’s programming in almost every city where they perform. The company’s signature program “Dance with Us” has benefitted tens of thousands of children in North America over the past twenty years. Up to 60 local dance students in each city will have the opportunity to dance side by side with the professionals in roles created just for their levels. Roles include court pages and attendants, a small corps de ballet attending the Lilac Fairy, children of the Royal Family, minions to the evil witch Caraboose and more. Beautiful costumes are provided for the children’s roles and Moscow Ballerinas visit each participating city ahead of the performances to audition and train the student dancers.
