Russian Ballerina Thoroughbred meets & challenges Equine Thoroughbred

Ballerina auditions local kids to perform with Moscow Ballet and visits with Taken by the Storm as well!

 

                         

                         

What:    Moscow Ballet soloist meets Kenny McPeek and and  “Taken by the Storm” at Magdalena Farm.  Carolina is in town to audition local kids to perform in Great Russian Nutcracker in Lexington Nov 26. Questions that Carolina and Kenny will answer: Which thoroughbred trains harder? Which line is stronger? Which line needs more training and daily exercise?  Which line is more beautiful?  Bring your questions for either one!

When:  Thursday, October 3, 12noon

Who:   

  • Ballerina Carolina Siscanusoloist with Moscow Ballet and at just 9 yrs was accepted at National School of Ballet in Moldova, known for its world class level of ballet training and performance. She auditioned local student dancers on Oct 1 and will rehearse them to perform in Great Russian Nutcracker Nov 26
  • Trainer Kenny McPeek - a Lexingtonian classic winning trainer. In 2012 he trained Golden Pikett winner of the Travers Stake.   He won the Belmont Stakes with Sarava and back to back Spinster Stakes with Take Charge Lady.  He is also known for training Tejano Run and Hard Buck to many wins.
