(Berkshires, MA) June 21, 2013 –Talmi Entertainment presents Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet and more classic ballets in 70 markets coast to coast, providing a proven entertainment draw for casinos nationwide. In partnership with native and corporate properties, the world-traveling company brings affluent gamers, and new gamers, to properties of all sizes and kinds across North America.

In 2012 C3 Presents and Caesars presented Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker in six markets, including Caesars in Windsor Canada and Harrah’s in Atlantic City. Huston Powell, promoter with C3 Presents, says, “Introducing new types of live entertainment to gaming audiences is a priority for C3 and Caesars. Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker provided a great national platform to deliver unique holiday entertainment to Caesars properties in 2012.”  Over the years Moscow Ballet has delivered outstanding audience numbers, demonstrating the huge demand for classic holiday entertainment. At Caesars in Windsor, the Great Russian Nutcracker drew a full house of 5,000 and at Casino Rama, in the Toronto DMA, the casino hosted 15,000 people over three days.

Lori Otelsberg, Chairperson of International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA), remarks, “Bringing Moscow Ballet to casino stages is a resounding success for our casinos and breaks the long-standing barrier of just presenting bands at gaming casinos.” Otelsberg is with Signature Entertainment and is an independent talent buyer for casinos in the southwest including the successful and competitive Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, California. 2013 marks that casino’s third consecutive year presenting Moscow Ballet and its commitment has doubled in that time. One reason for such success with the casino community has been Moscow Ballet’s willingness to develop tailored VIP experiences for select patrons. “We really try to understand the goals of the property, what they need to get out of a particular engagement. No two casinos have exactly the same marketing mix or entertainment strategy. We work closely with Moscow Ballet dancers and our properties to ensure a good fit,” says Dan Talmi, promoter with Talmi Entertainment.  To capitalize on Moscow Ballet’s growth in the gaming sector, the company will showcase in Nashville at IEBA October 19 to 22.
