The experience of working and performing with professional ballerinas is often a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for aspiring dancers. Former Somerville NJ Gotta Dance student Hillary-Marie Michael, now director of Jersey Tap Fest, says, “From start to finish … it is an excellent way for dancers to understand both the discipline and fun involved in a professional ballet production.”

The Majestic Theatre was designed and built in 1929, with a grand opening presentation of the "Fox Movietone Follies of 1929." For many years it was the largest theater in Texas and the second largest movie house in the country.
Later designated a National Historic Landmark, the theater was closed temporarily in the mid-1970s in the wake of a changing audience. It reopened in 1976, undergoing renovations and expansion throughout the next 15 years.
Today, the theater is home to the San Antonio Symphony, and has hosted musicians such as B.B. King and Sting; comedians including Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock; and Broadway tours of shows like The Phantom of the Opera and The Lion King.
