Great Russian Nutcracker in Cupertino (San Jose)
Tickets go on sale April 1 in Cupertino for a Friday, December 16, 7:30pm performance of Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker at the Flint Center. Alexandra Elagina and Anatolie Ustimov make their debut in the Western Tour as Masha (aka Clara) and the Nutcracker Prince.These award-winning stars, and a corps of thirty some impeccably trained Russian dancers, performed the beloved Christmas story to critical acclaim in 2010 on the Eastern Tour; “Thrilling, expansive and elegant” NY Times; “Aristocratic finesse” Plain Dealer; “Breathtaking, awe-inspiring” Charleston Today; “Spellbinding, fabulous,” San Francisco Stark Insider; and DC’s ionarts.com, “Astounding.”
