Join the Ballerinas on Stage!

Moscow Ballet’s “Dance with Us” program brings about 60 student dancers on stage with the Russian professionals in each tour city. Young dancers are in roles such as Party Children, scurrying Mice, floating Angels and more. Children’s choreography is additional to the performance and carefully developed to fit each dancer’s level. Moscow Ballet also provides beautiful costumes created especially for the young dancers.

“Dove of Peace”

Exclusive to Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker is the new Dove of Peace with a 20ft wingspan. Two dancers create the stunning bird by wearing one wing each. They escort Masha and Nutcracker Prince to the “Land of Peace and Harmony” (traditionally the Land of Sweets). How did this come about? Producers Akiva and Mary Talmi created the Land of Peace and Harmony and the Dove of Peace out of the rubble of Glasnost and Perestroika in the late 1990’s to the enjoyment of over 2 million North Americans for the past 20 years. Meet the Peacekeeper – Moscow Ballet’s Dove of Peace.
