Nataliia Ivasenko is Moscow Ballet Principal Ballerina premiering in the US and Canada on the 2015 North American tour of the Great Russian Nutcracker. She is the winner of many awards including the International Ballet Competition for Youth “The Crystal Shoe” Kharkov 2009; the youth winner of the “International Ballet Competition” New York 2008; Valentina Kozlova's “International Ballet Competition” Boston 2009; “Yuri Grigorovich International Youth Ballet Dancer of the World” Sochi 2009; and the “International Ballet Competition” Orlando 2012.
Nataliia graduated from the Ukraine State Choreographic School of Alexandra Sokolova in Dnepropetrovsk in 2005 and was immediately invited to join the Dnepropetrovsk Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Four years later she was invited to join the National Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Byelorussia (also known as Belarus); and in 2011 Nataliia was invited to dance at the TarasShevchenkoNational Opera House in Kievas well as at the historic and stunning Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Nataliia’s repertoire includes roles in classic to modern ballets including, but not limited to, Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake; Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet; Bogdana Pavlovsk’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs; Sylphide by Hermana Levensholda; Caesar Puni's Esmeralda;Don Quixote and Paquita by Ludwig Minkus; Flames of Paris by Boris Asafeva; and more. International tours have taken her to Romania, Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Bulgaria, and China.
