Mr. Talmi founded ATP, Inc. in New York City in 1980 and is now located in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. He holds a BS and MA in Music Composition from the Juilliard School. He was a recipient of the Metropolitan Opera Guild Award, the Richard Rogers Award (5 times over 5 years), Leonard Bernstein Award, and the AICF Award—Isaac Stern, President. He composed the music for feature length films, "Two" (CoImar), "Longest Journey" (Columbia), “Carnival,” and “From the Top” (CPTV).

•1974 TV program “From the Top,” starring world renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman and NYC Ballet star Violette Verdi for CPTV.
•1981 “The Alexander Godunov Retrospective Ballet Tour” throughout the USA
•1983 “From Bolshoi to Broadway” starring Bolshoi Ballet artists Leonid Kozlov and Valentina Kozlova. Mr. Talmi secured the starring role in the Broadway revival of “On Your Toes” for Ms. Kozlova and subsequently principal dancer positions for both Kozlovs with NYC Ballet under George Balanchine.
•1983-1984 “Silk, Satin and Denim” starring Valentina Kozlova and Nina Fedorova of New York City Ballet and featuring the Haute Couture designs of Ungaro, Christian Dior, Pauline Trigere, Oleg Cassini, Donna Karan, and Michael Kors. This was a promotional and marketing project for Hess department stores.
•1984 “The Cynthia Gregory Celebration Tour” starring America’s Prima Ballerina Cynthia Gregory, this was a 34- city ballet tour. As sponsors of this national tour US President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan invited Mr. Talmi to the White House for an official State Dinner on cultural events. First Lady Roselyn Carter and Vice Presidential wife Tipper Gore also served as honorary chairpersons for other tours.
•1989-1992 “The International Glasnost Festival Tours” a 54-city tour featuring stars from the Bolshoi Ballet, the Kirov Ballet and the National Ballets of Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria and the People’s Republic of China. Accompanying seminars were presented at Yale, Dartmouth, Middlebury, Purdue, and Vanderbilt Universities.
•1993-1996 “Russian Ballet Performances” at the Washington Constitutional Hall with orchestra, aired on the National TV PBS
•1994-2010 “The Great Russian Nutcracker” exclusive representation of the annual 70-city North American tour with a troupe of 80, award-winning dancers from top Russian schools including Bolshoi, Mariinsky, Perm and Vaganova. •1985 Produced the "IBM Gold Circle Award" annual marketing meeting of IBM-Asia starring Boshoi and NYC Ballet star Valentina Kozlova
•1989 Produced the Campbell Soup Company "Live It Right” campaign starring Cynthia Gregory for MTV/VH1 television; produced a worldwide marketing campaign for Coca Cola with country music star Randy Travis, aired on international TV networks.

Akiva Talmi Presents co-founder and co-producer Mary Gianonne Talmi holds a BFA in Dance from the Juilliard School. She received two Choreography Fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, an Achievement Award in Choreography from the Massachusetts Council on the Arts, and was selected for the American Ballet Theatre's Choreography Workshop under Baryshnikov.
She founded Connecticut Dance Theatre and taught at Walnut Hill, Boston Ballet, Wright State, Ohio State, and Vassar. Mrs. Talmi choreographed for Dayton Ballet, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Albany Berkshire Ballet, ABT and Boston Ballet II, and the Jacob's Pillow Dancers.
